Electrician in Windermere

Local electricians serving Windermere

Windermere sits about ten minutes up the A591 from us, and a large share of our work there involves holiday accommodation — the guest houses, self-catering cottages and serviced lets that make up so much of the town's housing.

That work has its own rhythm. A let sitting empty is losing money, so inspections, PAT testing and remedial work need to land on changeover days or in the gaps between bookings. We're used to scheduling around that. The Victorian and Edwardian villas along the Bowness road and up towards Windermere station also throw up the usual challenges of large period properties: original wiring that's been extended piecemeal over decades, and consumer units that have run out of ways to accommodate another circuit.
